This digital collage brings together the kitsch visual language of the early internet and the memorial imagery commonly found on Ecuadorian buses. Religious icons, flowers, clouds, sentimental typography, family photographs, advertisements, and the bus itself accumulate into a deliberately excessive composition in which digital and popular vernacular aesthetics become inseparable. The work approaches these images through a form of reconstructed nostalgia. Rather than documenting a memory experienced fully in the past, it assembles a childhood atmosphere retrospectively from visual fragments that have acquired emotional significance over time. In doing so, the collage considers nostalgia as something that can be produced in the present and projected backward, questioning whether memory always originates in lived experience or can also be constructed through the images we later associate with it.
